Regis Matejcik

Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

Regis Matejcik has been affiliated with Landmark Consolidated since 1985. As Vice President of Hardin Corporation in Austin TX, Mr. Matejcik awarded the first construction contract to Landmark Organization; the original operating component of Landmark Consolidated. After two years of successful business dealings with Landmark Consolidated, in 1987 Regis officially joined Landmark as Vice President. He oversaw the growth of the firm from a modest-sized construction company to one of the largest commercial construction firms in the region. During this tenure, Landmark extended its reach into almost every major market in the country and began to broaden its business interests from strictly construction operations to real property investment and development.

Mr. Matejcik eventually stepped down from his position of Vice President and formed his construction firm, while continuing to be involved with the growth of Landmark Consolidated. As an independent entity, Regis played a key role in the completion of Landmark-owned and developed private correctional facilities in New Mexico and Texas, as well as providing site selection consultation and spearheading the municipal utility extensions that became the basis for Landmark’s first PPV (Public Private Venture) with the United States Navy.

After many years of working at an arm’s length basis with Landmark, Regis Matejcik rejoined Landmark Consolidated in April 2016, adding his successful business operations to the Landmark Consolidated team, and assuming the responsibilities of Chief Operating Officer of Landmark Consolidated. Mr. Matejcik brings to Landmark Consolidated over 30 years of business and management experience, which include successful endeavors in construction and real estate development.  Regis’s degree in Economics and Business Management at Kent State University and MBA studies at St. Edwards University in Austin help round out his broad skill set.  Always combining hard work principles and creative problem solving, Regis Matejcik helps keep Landmark Consolidated a cut above the competition.

Regis is a native of Cleveland, Ohio; but has lived in the Austin area since 1983. When not working, Regis also enjoys skiing, motorcycle riding, and of course, rooting for the Cavaliers.
